Savings of £114m [28-11-2007]
Savings of £114m could be made by repealing the current dispute regulations it has been estimated. This would help to pay for recommendations made in the Gibbon’s Review – namely, provide more flexible and less prescriptive procedures, a simple process for the many monetary employment complaints, a free helpline to weed out poor claims and more incentives for early resolution and space in procedures for mediation. http://www.berr.gov.uk/files/file38516.pdf
